The Best Way to Sell in Florida & My Story

We got our timeshare in Florida with the best of intentions. But unfortunately, we haven't been using it. So instead of spending money on something we are not using, we decided to get rid of it. And even though the process wasn't easy, we did end up selling. Here is how it all happened.

My first attempt was calling the resort. I had a lot of questions and talked to the person on the other end for about an hour. But by the end of it all, I had more questions than when I started. So even though they gave me advice, I felt a little more lost at this point.

The second thing I did was to give my best friend a call. He lives in the West and I got a hold of him right before bed. Unfortunately, he wasn't much help with my problem. Although, he did recommend that I look on the Internet for help – which is what I did the next morning.

First of all, I'm not a computer whiz by any means. All I know is that I can open up the Internet and read emails from my son and grandson occasionally.

Venturing outside of my comfort zone was not easy, but I did end up finding a website that looked promising. But before I entered in my information, I had my wife look it over – you can never be too careful on the Internet nowadays.

Everything looked good to her, so I punched in a few details and requested to be contacted by this website at www.howtoselltimeshare.org. Surprisingly, then called me within a few hours and we talked for awhile.

I was expecting to have a telemarketer call me, but the person on the other end spoke English very well and was very helpful.

We came to an agreement on the timeshare and I put the man on hold while I talked with my wife. Debra agreed that we were getting a good deal and I got back on the phone.

Of course there was some paperwork that we had to fax to the company, but it all happened fairly quick.

We were treated very well and have had a great experience with that company. I would recommend talking to these people if you are looking for a quick way to get rid of your timeshare.

Their website is www.howtoselltimeshare.org and all I had to do to get started was enter in my information to get the free evaluation.

I hope that our story of selling will help fellow timeshare owners who are in the same boat that I was.
